¡Hola! I'm Ritu Anand, a passionate Spanish language educator with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). My journey with Spanish began as a student, so I understand the excitement, challenges, and confidence-building that come with learning a new language. This perspective helps me connect with my students and guide them in a way that is practical, encouraging, and enjoyable. Beyond teaching, my professional experience as a translator and Spanish Executive has given me practical exposure to using Spanish in real-world business and professional environments. My teaching philosophy is simple: learning a language should never feel like memorizing a textbook. I believe students learn best when they understand the "why" behind the language and actively use it through conversations, games, storytelling, role-plays, and real-life situations. I incorporate modern teaching methods such as interactive activities, digital learning tools, visual content, and personalized practice sessions to make every class engaging and effective. My goal is to make those challenges easier through structured lessons, regular practice, and continuous motivation. I focus on creating a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and growing every day.
